FWIW, and maybe this was OG's point, that's a Hollywood 288 driver, rope gasket and all.

I don't know about any rope gasket, but yeah, I noticed it was a 288 when the auction was initially posted. I've been watching it, wondering if it would fly under the radar. Given that the seller has people asking for a BIN, hoping he doesn't know what he has, I think it'll end up going pretty high.

If you enlarge the last pic, you can see the braided "rope" gasket between the cover and the driver body.

I suspect you're quite correct about the final price, although the cosmetic condition is almost sure to hold it down a bit.
